The Deacon’s Committee promotes the outreach of Christ The King Lutheran Church in our community. This is accomplished through various means: We contact people via phone or personal visit who have visited our Church or have requested information regarding Christ The King Church. We continue to send personal notes of welcome to people who have just moved into our area.

The Deacon’s Committee also acts as a liaison to the Kettle Moraine Food Pantry. Each month a deacon is assigned to deliver the food donated by the congregation to the KM Food Pantry. In 2007, the Kettle Moraine Food Pantry helped 2,803 people and distributed 54,880 pounds of food. In addition to food donations, the congregation can also donate cash to the pantry. In 2007, CTK and its members donated over $1,100 to the KM Food Pantry.
