It's all about making connections! Please join us Sunday mornings from 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. for KID CONNECTION, our education program for children age 3 (by September 1) through grade 6. Our team of dedicated adult guides, youth helpers and music leaders help connect your child with God's word through fun activities, interactive Bible stories, and energizing music. Our schedule is as follows:
- Connecting with the congregation through "The Young Church" - Students and their families gather for10 :00 a.m.Worship in the sanctuary for Pastor Gary's "Mystery Box" object lesson during "The Young Church" message.
- Connecting with each other! At 10:15 a.m. children are dismissed for Sunday School. We begin with Large Group time for 15-20 minutes, followed by Small Group classroom time. Sunday School ends at 11:15 a.m.
- Connecting with our community! Our weekly Sunday School offerings are designated to an outreach effort in our local or global community.
- What else makes KID CONNECTION unique?
- Each quarter your child will received a copy of Guess What! a fun, colorful family magazine that helps parents connect Kid Connection concepts at home. Kids love it!
- Attended Sunday School two weeks in a row? Receive a Golden Ticket and visit our Treasure Box for a fun reward!
- Children's Christmas Pageant and Birthday Party for Jesus. Our youth are encouraged to participate as a speaker, musician, dancer, artist or choir member in our annual children's pageant which shares the message of Christ's birth in a unique way each year. Followed by a celebration in the Great Hall.
Although there is no fee for Sunday School, we do accept a $25 donation per student ($75 family max) to cover materials. Any amount is most appreciated.
