Welcome to our Seegert Library Collection!

Our Vision

The church library supports the ministries of the congregation of Christ the King Lutheran Church. We freely extend to you the use of our resources. It is not enough to merely have a church library; we nurture it so that ours is a library that is truly alive.

Our Mission

To provide print and nonprint materials which

strengthen the educational work of our church,

enrich our worship and spiritual life,

increase the knowledge of our own faith and others; and

►deepen our relationship with Jesus Christ!

Who do we serve? When is the library open?  The library is open to members of all ages of our congregation and to the community. This is a self-serve, lending library. The door is never locked. Please come into our user-friendly library at any time, turn on the lights, and browse the collection.

How is the collection cataloged and organized?  The library’s computer provides a catalog of the collection which allows you to search for materials by keyword, author, title, or subject. The collection is divided into adult, children, and young adult sections; it is cataloged with the Dewey Decimal system. The shelving is labeled for easy identification of these age-level divisions.

What are the policies and procedures for checking out and returning items?  Materials may be checked out by signing the circulation cards found inside the back covers of the books and inside the DVD and CD cases. The loan period is three weeks; they may be renewed. Fines are not imposed. Return the materials to the blue book-return basket.
