Communion At CTK Minimize

We invite you to share in our celebration of the sacrament of Holy Communion. We believe that Christ is truly present in the bread and wine and comes to us with the assurance of forgiveness. Please sign a communion card (located in the pews) and join us at the Lord’s Table.

Communion is served every Sunday.

First communion is received when children are in fifth grade at Christ the King.

Wine or Grape Juice? For reasons of taste, allergies, alcoholism or other dynamics, some people find themselves at the communion rail hoping for an alternative to the wine.  At Christ the King, there is an alternate to the wine.  Our trays of individual cups include a small number that are filled with grape juice as a non-alcoholic substitute to regular wine.  Communicants can request the substitute by quietly voicing a request as the server faces them.

We also have gluten free wafers which are served each time communion is served. They are individually wrapped in foil.
