Whenever the costs of a League event are projected to be in excess of $50 per person, a deposit of at least 10% will be the registration or sign-up norm.
Should a Leaguer, guest or friend need to cancel, a full refund may be obtained up to 60 days prior to scheduled departure.
50% of the deposit will be returned if a change is made more than 30 days before the activity begins.
With less than 30 days notice, the deposit will be forfeited to the League.
Two exceptions are made to this policy ---
One will be in the case of personal illness or family death.
The other will be in conjunction with participation in the National Youth Gathering of the ELCA or similar event when the policy of that organization supersedes that of Christ the King.
Should the congregation or League itself cancel an event, deposits must be returned within 30 days.
If an activity is rescheduled, deadlines are re-computed at 30 days for a full refund and 15 days for a half refund.
